Diljit Dosanjh's portrayal in Imtiaz Ali's 'Amar Singh Chamkila' has garnered significant praise, particularly for his lead performance. While his professional endeavours often grab attention, the actor-singer maintains a staunchly private stance regarding his personal life. Recently, rumours surrounding his marriage and fatherhood have been making headlines, but details remain unconfirmed. But, Anjum Batra, who stars alongside Diljit as Kesar Singh Tikki in the film, noted that Diljit tends to maintain a low-key approach to his personal life.

Despite being a prominent figure, the Punjabi singer-actor has chosen not to disclose much about his personal affairs to fans. While he hasn't explicitly explained the reason for this privacy, Anjum hinted at a possible connection to a protest that erupted in Punjab years ago due to one of Diljit's songs. "I don’t want to comment on this subject because I don’t know," he told Bollywood Now.

Commenting on the rumours surrounding Crew actor's marriage, Batra added "But there is one thing about Diljit, he also shared it on the sets of Amar Singh Chamkila, many years ago, because of a song he released, there were protests outside his house. Since then, he has been over protective about his family. This is why he is lowkey about his personal life and keeps them away from the spotlight."
