Diljit Dosanjh and Shah Rukh Khan, who made their debuts in Sabyasachi and Prabal Gurung, respectively, were among the many A-list superstars and business titans representing India at the Met Gala this year.

Diljit Dosanjh made his first spectacular appearance and proudly showcased his Punjabi culture to the globe at the Met Gala 2025. The singer-actor was spotted wearing an off-white Achkan, pyjamas, and turban that featured a map of Punjab, special symbols, and lines written in Gurmukhi as part of the 'Maharaja look' designed by renowned designer Prabal Gurung.

Shah Rukh Khan made his first major appearance at the Met Gala 2025 wearing a black Sabyasachi suit adorned with golden jewelry, keeping up with the Superfine: Tailoring Black Style theme. The superstar accessorised his ensemble with a gorgeous watch, four rings, a stick with golden accents, and two necklaces featuring the letters 'SRK' and 'K.' His black glasses added even more flair to his appearance brought to life by designer Sabyasachi.

Fashion enthusiasts picked their favourite MET Gala debut this year between Diljit Dosanjh and Shah Rukh Khan. They admired Diljit Dosanjh's ability to draw attention, not only for his flawless style but also for what it represented - A cultural fusion that few Indian singers have accomplished so successfully and authentically.

One of the users broke down the singer's ensemble details in the comment section and wrote, "Diljit Dosanjh at the #MetGala2025—regal, powerful, and deeply intentional. Several users swooned over SRK's all-black look but highlighted how the ensemble isn't as magnificent as the singer's. "I feel like Diljit and his designer worked really hard on his fit. Diljit Dosanjh has succeeded in keeping it authentic in a time when representation is more important than ever by introducing India to the globe in his own swag-filled manner. Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, added the oomph factor to his power look.
