It was in 2022 when Spiltsvilla fames Divya Agarwal and Varun Sood broke their years long relationship. Divya Agarwal announced her break up with Varun Sood in an Instagram story last year, in which she wrote: "Thank you Varun for everything." Now, the Ace Of Space participant has finally broken her silence about the same, stating, "it is better to separate when the relationship becomes the cause of unhappiness."

In a conversation with IBT India, Divya Agarwal said, "Sometimes the pain behind happy pictures isn’t visible to these faceless trolls. While I ignore them most of the time, they do bother after a point and that’s when one needs to break their silence."

Opening up on all the trolls she had been facing since parting ways with Varun, Divya said, "Why does society blame only women for the ending of a relationship? In my opinion, it’s sometimes the best decision to part away when the relationship becomes the cause of unhappiness and I did the same. For the benefit of society, women have long put aside their self-respect and interests. She is made to feel guilty or labeled as a rebel if she thinks about herself."

Stating that she is now engaged, Divya asserted, "I am now engaged. Moved on as I chose my peace. I cannot fathom why would someone want to answer a question from the past to promote their show. It’s extremely tough to move on but if you choose to stay where you are unhappy, that’s tough anyway. Instead, release yourself and your significant other to find peace in other things life gave us."

Divya Agarwal announced her engagement to Apurva on Instagram on her birthday. Sharing the pics, she wrote, "Will I ever stop smiling? Probably not. Life just got more sparkly and I found the right person to share this journey with. His #BaiCo A forever promise. From this important day, I will never walk alone Rab Rakha (sic)."
