In a recent conversation with ANI, Akshay Kumar was asked about his simple approach to fitness. Akshay said, "I have always believed in one thing – have your dinner before sunset, before 6:30 PM. There is no bigger mantra than this. Even doctors will tell you the same." Akshay believes that having a disciplined routine in terms of food can make a huge difference.
Advice Not To Copy Film Stars
The actor also shared an important message to the audience regarding the issue of unrealistic body expectations. He stated, "Change your lifestyle according to your doctor's advice, not according to film stars. Film stars may not look the same as they do in the movies." He further stated that filters and other special effects are usually applied to their images, giving a wrong impression to the viewers.
Akshay Kumar Warns Against Steroids and Shortcuts
Akshay strongly warned against the use of steroids and quick fixes for building muscles. He said, "Nowadays, many people take steroids for six-pack or eight-pack abs. These shortcuts make the body look strong outside but hollow inside." He further added, "One shortcut can shorten your life. You need fitness that lasts long, not something temporary."
