Shah Rukh Khan is not only known as a versatile actor but also as a man recognized for his generosity and chivalry. He has always won hearts with his gestures, whether as an actor or a producer. Did you know that he backed Ittefaq, starring Akshaye Khanna, Sidharth Malhotra, and Sonakshi Sinha, without even reading the script? Yes, you read that right. The 2017 film, directed and written by Abhay Chopra (the son of the late filmmaker Ravi Chopra), was produced by SRK under his banner. Recently, Renu Chopra, a producer and the wife of Ravi Chopra, praised the Jawan actor and revealed how he didn't charge any interest on the finance for producing her son Abhay's debut film.

Recalling Shah Rukh Khan's interaction during Ittefaq and how he stood by the Chopra family, Renu Chopra shared with Pinkvilla, “Shah Rukh had only made guest appearances for us before. When we had to make Ittefaq, Shah Rukh’s office and our office shared a wall. We decided to do it with him. I asked him, ‘Should I come over?’ He said, ‘No, no. You won’t come, Renu ji, I will come.’ That respect, that you are senior! I told him, ‘Shah Rukh, it's been three weeks since you said that; now I’ll come myself.’”

She remembered how SRK agreed to the script without reading it. "We all went and he welcomed us warmly, with love and respect. In BR, I’ve received so much respect that I am still standing on the foundation of it. He called me in, made me sit, and asked me what I wanted. I told him that I didn’t have money to invest, and he said he would do it. I told him that my children would give their all to make the movie. It was my younger son's debut film, Ittefaq. SRK agreed without reading the script. His motto was, 'I’ll never back the horse; I’ll back the jockey.' He said, 'If your son is backing it, I’ll back it.'"

Renu praised Shah Rukh’s generous nature and how he supported the film throughout. "And to this day, the money has been split 50-50. When the picture wrapped up, like all other finances, there’s an interest rate. He said, 'No, this is forbidden for me. I won’t take it.' That is the kind of person he is."
