The 50 Show: Fitness influencer and Bigg Boss 18 star Rajat Dalal has successfully undergone surgery after sustaining a significant injury during the filming of the reality show, The 50. The popular personality, known for his physical strength and strategic gameplay, took to social media on Saturday, March 7, 2026, to reassure his worried followers that he is now on the road to recovery.
Meanwhile, the injury occurred during the very first task of the competition, which began on February 1, 2026. Rajat Dalal revealed that he suffered a severe tendon tear in his hand, measuring 2.8 cm. Despite the medical severity of the injury, Rajat chose to stay in the competition due to his commitment to the producers and his personal drive to win. Furthermore, during a subsequent task, the injury worsened, with the tear expanding to 3 cm. Once the filming for the series concluded and the contestants returned home, Rajat immediately sought medical intervention.

Sharing a health update from his hospital bed, Rajat Dalal posted a picture of himself in a cast. The caption of his post read, "Gir girke hi insaan uthna seekhta hai." Explaining the situation in a video update on his Instagram Stories, Rajat detailed the timeline of the injury, "Sab puch rahe hain ki hua kya hai. The 50 ke pehle din ke shoot pe mere ko tendon tear ho gaya tha, thick tear tha, 2.8 cm ka. Jo baad me ek task jab maine perform kara usme badh ke 3 cm ho gaya. Toh iska solution surgery hi tha, Par show ki commitment thi aur mera man bhi nahi tha chorne ka...to pehle show complete kara aur ab finally mere ko jis doctor se surgery karani thi waha date mili." He concluded his update by stating, "Aaj wo surgery hui hai aur achi hui hai. Baaki sab badia hai."
Rajat Dalal has been a standout performer on The 50, a survival-based reality show featuring 50 celebrities living in a single palace. Alongside stars like Faisal Shaikh (Faisu) and Prince Narula, Rajat is considered a top contender for the title. While the show continues to air on television, the filming has officially wrapped. The 50 airs at Jiohotstar at 9pm everyday.
