Extraction 2 Twitter Review: Adrenaline-packed entertainer Extraction, featuring Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth, and co-starring Randeep Hooda, made a huge impact in 2020. Now, the action thriller is returning with its sequel, with Hemsworth reprising his role from the first film. Directed by Sam Hargrave, the movie is based on the graphic novel Ciudad, created by Ande Parks, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Fernando León González, and Eric Skillman.

Prior its release on the popular online streaming platform Netflix, Twitter users, commonly known as netizens, have taken to the microblogging site, to share their opinions on Extraction 2. The movie has garnered rave reviews from viewers, who describe it as an "exceptional action-packed film."

Shortly prior to its digital premiere, online viewers hailed the second installment of the film and its exhilarating action sequences. Some users even praised the movie for its improved storyline, with some expressing the opinion that the second part surpasses the quality of the first part.

One user wrote, "#Extraction2 is perhaps a little more uneven than its predecessor, but still like how it tries to balance emotion and action. It's mostly effective, while expanding the scope and larger narrative. The prison breakout sequence is a highlight. Hemsworth is great once again."

"#EXTRACTION2 has to be knocking on the door with JW4 for some of the best action you'll see this year. This sequel doubles down on what worked in the first film, while giving us a larger scope with some incredibly brutal action. That prison breakout sequence is jaw dropping and Chris Hemsworth and director Sam Hargrave have proven to be a great duo. It's a shame that this isn't a theatrical release only because it delivers a big screen experience. Con, Joe Russos screenplay is easily the weakest part. It's very uneven & very bland," another commented.

The film's plot summary states, "Back from the brink of death, highly skilled commando Tyler Rake takes on another dangerous mission: saving the imprisoned family of a ruthless gangster." Apart from Chris Hemsworth, the cast also includes Golshifteh Farahani, Idris Alba, Adam Bessa, and various others.

In an interview with People magazine, Chris Hemsworth had revealed, "Initially, when (director) Sam (Hargrave) pitched it to me, I was kind of shaking my head going, 'Hang on, hang on, how is this even possible?' And then the excitement kicks in, on the day, it's like being a kid. It's like being involved in the most crazy sporting experience you've ever been a part of."
