Vin Diesel and Jason Momoa's much-awaited film 'Fast X' has finally been released in theatres. The 'Fast and Furious' franchise has a huge fan following all over the world including India and it has been performing exceptionally well at the box office. Within three days of its release, the movie is inching towards the Rs 50 crore mark at the box office in India.

Fast X Box Office Collection: 

According to the website sacnilk, 'Fast X' collected Rs 16.50 crore as per early estimate at the box office on day 3 (Saturday) and its total collection now stands at Rs 42.60 crore approximately. The movie saw a big jump on Saturday and is expected to show more growth on Sunday.  

Meanwhile, according to The Hollywood Reporter, 'Fast X' collected $320 million globally on its opening day. It has become the second-highest debut at the box office in 2023, behind 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie'. Whereas, talking about the 'Fast and Furious' franchise, 'Fast X' opened at number three globally, behind 'The Fate of the Furious and Furious 7'.

Talking about his evolution in the 'Fast And Furious' franchise, Vin Diesel said, "By Blood or by bond, family is family. In the earlier years of this franchise, we were exploring the concept of brotherhood, cherishing and celebrating family. Then, as the mythology continued and evolved naturally, we were going to end up discussing fatherhood, and in Fast X you will see the representation of parenthood where survival is everything. It’s something that every father and mother in the world can identify with.”

About Fast X:

The movie revolves around Dom Toretto, who must protect his family from Dante Reyes, who is seeking revenge for his father's death and the loss of his family's fortune. 

Directed by Louis Leterrier, the movie stars Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto in the lead role with an ensemble star cast including Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Jason Momoa, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Brie Larson, Daniela Melchior, Alan Ritchson, Scott Eastwood, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, and Rita Moreno.
