Jio Cinema recently released a brief 30-second video on its social media channels on YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram. It gave a glimpse of web series and movies that it will be showing in June 2023. Everything is currently free. Here's a look at what films and TV shows Jio Cinema has planned for the following month:

Asur 2

Asur 2 debuted on the OTT platform Jio Cinema on June 1, that is, today. Asur, which is set in the mystic city of Varanasi, follows forensic expert-turned-teacher Nikhil Nair as he goes back to his roots at the Central Bureau of Investigation and teams up with his former boss Dhananjay Rajpoot to pursue a brutal serial killer. What happens next is a mix of mystery, mythology, and the killings of some individuals who aren't even connected.

Mumbaikar

Vikrant Massey and Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Mumbaikar is all set for its OTT release. The story is based on the life of people at Mumbai which includes their happiness, drama, fun, and romance which interlink their lives. The movie decides to distribute directly to the OTT platform and its digital streaming partner has been selected.

Mumbaikar will mark its release on OTT platform Jio Cinema on June 2, 2023 and fans are already excited because of its ensemble cast.

Bloody Daddy

Shahid Kapoor-starrer Bloody Daddy is one of the much-anticipated movies that is set to mark its release on Jio Cinema. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bloddy Daddy also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ankur Bhatia and Vivan Bhatena in pivotal roles. It is the adaptation of 2011 French film Sleepless Night, which itself was remade in Tamil as Thoongaa Vanam (2015), starring Kamal Haasan.

Bloody Daddy is scheduled to be released for free on 9 June 2023 on JioCinema.

Taali

After winning hearts with her outrageous performamce in the suspense thriller web series Aarya, Sushmita Sen is all set for her upcoming show, Taali. The actor will be stepping into the shoes of transgender activist Gauri Sawant. The show will cover the major events of the life and struggle of Mumbai based transgender activist Gauri Sawant. Sushmita Sen-starrer will be premiering on Jio Cinema soon. The release date has not been announced yet.

Crackdown 2

The second season of Crackdown 2 is currently streaming on Jio Cinema. It debuted on the OTT platform on May 25, 2023. Crackdown 2 is an Indian spy thriller webseries directed By Apoorva Lakhia starring Saqib Saleem in the lead role.
