According to Sacnilk, the film 'Ganapath - A Hero Is Born' had a lackluster performance during its initial four days in theaters, accumulating a mere Rs 8.30 crore in net earnings in India. On its fifth day, the film is estimated to have earned approximately Rs 1.50 crore in net earnings in India, bringing the total collection to Rs 9.80 crore. Moreover, on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, the film had an overall occupancy rate of just 12.28% in the Hindi-speaking regions.

Tiger and Big B shared screen space in the film. Speaking about Amitabh Bachchan, Tiger told India Today, "Big B has a relentless approach to small things everyday which tends to get monotonous for us but how he religiously does it. It's the small things you do every day is what counts in a larger picture. He is a living prime example of that. He is just so disciplined in his routine. He is just so hungry even now and that I think that's something very inspiring. I aspire to be like him someday."

Meanwhile, the post-apocalyptic dystopian action movie is both written and directed by Vikas Bahl. He, along with the collaboration of Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh, took on the production of the film. It hit theaters on October 20, 2023.
