The festival of welcoming Ganpati Bappa into your homes is just around the corner. While preparations are in full swing across the nation to welcome Lord Ganesha, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra recently welcomed her Ganesha idol from an idol workshop in Mumbai, keeping with her annual tradition. The actress was spotted with the Ganesh idol, arriving in front of her home with her husband Raj Kundra.

Shilpa Shetty looked desi, classy, and simple in her look, as she wore a green anarkali suit with striped dupatta. To complete her India look, the actress wore a small bindi and absolutely rocked the subtle glam look, and kept her hair open. On the other hand, her husband and businessman, Raj Kundra wore an orange short kurta, with a pair of denims and covered his face with a mask and an oversize hoodie.

As the duo stepped outside the workshop, they were swamped with the paparazzi. Talking about the professional font of Shilpa Shetty, the actress made her debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 1993 with ‘Baazigar.’ However, she was last seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Dostana’, making a special appearance in a song.

The yoga enthusiast made a comeback in 2021, after 14 years with ‘Hungama 2’ which was a flop at the box office. The actress is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming Kannada film ‘KD’ which also features Kusha Kapila, Amit Sadh, Pavleen Gujral, and Dilnaz Irani in pivotal roles. She also will be seen in 'Sukhee' and has 'Indian Police Force' web series alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi. The series is directed by Rohit Shetty.
