Gangs of Godavari Box Office Collection Day 5: Vishwak Sen returns to the big screen with Krishna Chaitanya directorial. The film also features a talented cast including Anjali, Neha Shetty, Nassar, and P. Sai Kumar. Set against the backdrop of the Eluru and Godavari coastal regions in India, the movie tells the compelling story of a man's ascent from rags to riches. The action-packed Telugu drama that hit theaters on May 31, 2024, promises audiences a thrilling experience with its captivating storytelling and dynamic performances.

Gangs of Godavari Box Office Report

The film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, in collaboration with Venkat Upputuri and Gopichand Innamuri under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Gangs of Godavari has been performing well at the box office, earning an estimated Rs 12.30 crore net in India over its first four days. On its fifth day, the movie continued to attract audiences, earning around Rs 1.15 crore net, bringing the total collection to Rs 13.45 crore net, according to Sacnilk. The film experienced an overall occupancy rate of 14.26% in Telugu theaters on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Breaking down the occupancy throughout the day, the morning shows saw a 13.00% turnout, the afternoon shows had 14.14%, the evening shows experienced 14.43%, and the night shows had the highest occupancy at 15.45%.

In addition to Vishwak Sen's stellar performance, Gangs of Godavari features a strong ensemble cast with Anjali as Rathnamala and Neha Shetty as Bujji. The film also includes notable actors such as Nassar, P. Sai Kumar, Hyper Aadi, Madhunandan, Praveen, Goparaju Ramana, Prudhvi Raj Palaparthi, and Mayank Parakh in pivotal roles. Despite the film's promising lineup, its pre-release event attracted controversy. Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna, who attended as the chief guest, faced significant backlash after a video surfaced online showing him pushing Anjali away on stage.
