The action thriller grossed approximately Rs. 17.25 crore at the Indian box office during its initial weekend, with a significant portion originating from its home state of Tamil Nadu, where it amassed Rs. 16 crore.

Garudan soared high at the box office during its initial three days, amassing an impressive Rs 14.60 crore in India net earnings. However, the film witnessed a notable decline on its fourth day, earning approximately Rs 2.60 crore, as reported by sacnilk. With this, the total collection rose to Rs 17.20 crore. On Monday, June 3, 2024, Garudan recorded an overall Tamil occupancy rate of 24.92%. The breakdown of occupancy across different showtimes revealed 13.57% for morning shows, 24.15% for afternoon shows, 27.45% for evening shows, and a substantial 34.51% for night shows. Despite the dip in collections, the film continues to draw audiences across various time slots, showcasing its enduring appeal.
