Ghaati Glimpse: Anushka Shetty's fans have received a special birthday treat this year with the reveal of her intense first look from the upcoming film Ghaati. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, this film marks their second collaboration following the success of their 2010 film Vedam. In Ghaati, Anushka takes on a fierce role, portraying a character that’s raw, intense and unafraid to confront harsh realities. UV Creations, the production house behind the film, shared her look on X (formerly Twitter), captioning it with, “VICTIM. CRIMINAL. LEGEND. The Queen will now rule the #GHAATI. Wishing 'The Queen' #AnushkaShetty a very Happy Birthday.” The bold character seems to embody both strength and vulnerability, with Anushka seen covered in blood, smoking, and wearing traditional jewellery that adds a haunting depth to her look.

The release poster hints at a dark, emotionally charged narrative. In a press statement, the team hinted that Ghaati would “not shy away from the brutal reality of the protagonist’s life,” suggesting a complex story of survival and revenge. Later in the evening, a 47-second teaser clip offered fans a deeper look at her character. Dressed in a saree with a black shawl, Anushka’s character boards a bus under police pursuit. In a shocking moment, she decapitates a man with a sickle, showcasing her fearsome persona. Her gaze in the rearview mirror adds an eerie intensity to the scene, giving a glimpse into the bold, unapologetic character she portrays.
