In a significant development, Khan and renowned producer Allu Arvind have reportedly engaged in discussions about a potential sequel to their blockbuster hit, Ghajini. This revelation has sparked widespread speculation and anticipation among fans, who have been eagerly awaiting a follow-up to the critically acclaimed movie.

During a press conference, producer Allu Arvind expressed his desire to collaborate with Aamir Khan again, this time to make a Rs 1000-crore film, hinting at a potential Ghajini 2. Aamir responded positively, saying "Definitely sir". Allu Arvind's suggestion was met with applause, and Aamir acknowledged the existing fan theories and anticipation surrounding the film.

The statement made by Allu Arvind and Aamir Khan during the press meet sent shockwaves of excitement through the online community, quickly going viral and sparking a flurry of reactions from netizens. Fans of the original Ghajini film were overjoyed at the prospect of a sequel, with one enthusiastic internet user exclaiming, "Finally Ghajini 2 is on cards!" About Ghajini: Ghajini was theatrically released on Christmas Day, December 25, 2008, and it went on to create history in the Indian film industry. The movie not only became the highest-grossing Indian film of the year but also achieved a monumental milestone by crossing the ₹100 crore mark domestically, thereby creating the prestigious 100 Crore Club. 

Ghajini's paid preview collections were an impressive ₹2.7 crore, setting the tone for its subsequent success. The film's reign as the highest-grossing Indian film of all time continued until it was eventually surpassed by another Bollywood blockbuster, 3 Idiots. Interestingly, Aamir Khan's iconic character from the film was also featured in a 3D video game titled Ghajini – The Game, which was based on the movie, further amplifying its popularity and cultural significance.
