GOT7 member Jinyoung has now enlisted for his mandatory South Korean military service and has shared his look with a buzz cut as well. After seeing his picture, fans became emotional and asked the singer-actor to take care of himself.
In the picture, Jinyoung can be seen wearing a cap hiding his buzz cut. Several fans commented that they will miss him and wait for him too.

One fan wrote, "Come back safely and healthy Jinyoung we will be waiting for you." Another commented, "Serve well and don’t worry about anything besides doing well and stay healthy!! We’ll be always here waiting & supporting you! LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK!!"
Earlier, his agency BH Entertainment released a statement regarding his military enlistment. They stated, "Actor Park Jinyoung will fulfill his duty to his country and enlist into basic military training on May 8 (Monday). There will be no separate official event and we ask for your understanding as he will be arriving in private for the safety and in consideration of the other families and their loved ones. We kindly ask that fans of Jinyoung refrain from visiting the site as this is a private occasion for many families. As always, thank you very much for your support as Jinyoung fulfills his duties in the military and returns happy and in good health."

Jinyoung also wrote a letter to his fans ahead of his military enlistment. “Are you surprised to hear the news of my enlistment? Everyone is worried, but I think I've become calmer and more reassured now that I've met you guys. I promise to think of you all, stay healthy, experience many things, and come back as a better person. I am always grateful and I love you,” the letter reads.
Jinyoung has also established himself as a successful actor. He made his acting debut in the drama Dream High 2 in 2012. He bagged his first acting role as the male lead in 'He Is Psycometric' in 2019. He was further seen in 'The Devil Judge' and 'Yumi's Cells'. He had a cameo role in the 2022 show 'Reborn Rich'.
