Grammy Awards 2025: Beyoncé made history by adding another feather to her hat. She became the first Black female artist to win the coveted Grammy for Best Country Album, continuing her record-breaking journey. Nothing is slowing her down.

Beyoncé, already the most-awarded Grammy artist in history (a record she set in 2023 with her album Renaissance), broke another record on Sunday, February 2. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she won two awards during the 2025 ceremony, bringing her total to 34.

Taylor Swift, a fellow artist, presented the award to Beyoncé during the ceremony. While accepting, Beyoncé expressed her gratitude, saying, "I was not expecting this. I want to thank God that I’m able to still do what I love after so many years, oh, my God! I’d like to thank all of the incredible country artists that accepted this, this album we worked so hard on… I think sometimes genre is a cold word to keep us in our place as artists, and I just want to encourage people to do what they’re passionate about and stay persistent."

Cowboy Carter, released in March 2024, marked a major milestone for Beyoncé and other Black artists in country music. Along with her Cowboy Carter win, Beyoncé also took home the Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Miley Cyrus on II Most Wanted.

At the 2025 Grammys, Beyoncé led the nominations with 11, including Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter, Best Country Song for "Texas Hold 'Em", Best Country Solo Performance for "16 Carriages", and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "II Most Wanted" with Miley Cyrus. Besides these, she received nominations in pop categories with Bodyguard and Levii’s Jeans, Americana with 'Ya Ya', and melodic rap with Spaghettii.

The 2025 Grammy Awards, hosted by comedian Trevor Noah, aired live on Sunday from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and streamed  on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar in India on Monday, February 3.
