Actor Hina Khan has revealed that she is dealing with mucositis as part of her fight against stage three breast cancer. Recently, she took to Instagram to discuss her diagnosis and seek effective remedies from her followers. Hina explained that mucositis, a painful side effect of chemotherapy, has recently developed despite her adherence to medical advice. She requested her fans' prayers and suggestions for managing the condition.

In her post, she wrote, "Another side effect of chemotherapy is mucositis. Although I am following the doctors advice to treat it. If any of you have been through it or have known any useful remedies. Please suggest (folded hands emoji). It's really hard when you can't eat (see no evil monkey emoji). It will greatly help me."

In her post, she requested suggestions and prayers, using folded hands and praying emojis. Many of her fans and followers responded with remedies and well-wishes. One fan expressed hope for her speedy recovery, while another sent prayers for her health. A commenter advised her to be cautious with treatments, noting that poor advice could potentially worsen her condition. "Get the treatment done, one bad advice can worsen things," a user wrote.

The actress recently provided a health update on Instagram, revealing that she has finished her fifth round of chemotherapy with three more sessions left. She reassured her followers, acknowledging that her occasional absence might cause concern, but assured them that she is managing. Hina explained that while some days are extremely challenging, others are more positive, noting that she felt particularly well on the day of her update. "I know I sometimes disappear, and you all get worried about where I am and how I’m doing. But I’m okay. I’ve completed my fifth chemo infusion, with three more to go."

Hina added, "Some days are hard, very very very very hard. Some days are good. Like today is a good day and I feel nice and better."

Earlier in June, Hina revealed, "I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I wish to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger."
