Hina Khan Looks Back On Her Television Journey, Shares That Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Paid Her The Most

Hina Khan stands tall as one of the most loved and celebrated faces of Indian television. Her debut show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai, not only emerged as one of the longest-running shows in the TV industry's history but also turned her role as Akshara into a household name. Over the years, she has worked in several daily soaps, reality TV shows, and also made her big screen debut, but YRKKH stands as one of the most important shows of her career. Recently, the actress reflected on her journey and candidly shared how her first show gave her so much more than any of her other gigs did.

Hina Khan has been a part of this glitz and glam world for over 15 years. Hina emerged as one of the highest-paid actresses in the television industry. Recently, in a conversation with Elvish Yadav on his YouTube channel, Hina talked about her journey and weighed in on how Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai played a crucial role in her career. During the interview, Elvish asked Hina which producer among YRKKH's Rajan Shahi and Naagin's Ektaa Kapoor paid her the most money. To which she replied, "Naagin maine kum time ke liye kiya, maine Ektaa ke saath Komolika kiya tha for 6–7 months. But agar aap paise ki baat karen toh definitely Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (I did Naagin for a very short time, I played Komolika's role for 6-7 months in Ektaa's show (Kasautii Zindagii Kay). But talking about the money part then definitely Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai)."

Explaining her statement, Hina said, "I did it for 8 years. Toh meri jitni sampati hai, sab mostly Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai se aayi hai. Uske baad bhi maine kaam kiya, lekin YRKKH played a big part (whatever wealth I have, it has all come from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. I also worked in many shows after, but YRKKH played a big part)."

During the same interview, Hina also shared her views on Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani's wedding. It took place on a TV show, Pati Patni Aur Panga and was broadcast on National television. Talking about their 'daring' decision, the actress said, "Bahut daring cheez hai (It's a very daring move). If you ask us, we can't do this."

Hina took a fun dig at Avika's husband, Milind and said, "Par unki apni marzi hai. Par hai Milind ek number ka kanjoos. Paise bachaye hain usne (It's their own choice. But Milind is a little too stingy. He saved so much money)."

Talking about her personal life, Hina Khan was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in 2024. The actor openly shared her journey with her fans while maintaining her positive spirit. The actress often credited Rocky Jaiswal and her family for being her strongest pillars.
