The ongoing National Assembly audit of HYBE has led to the disclosure of additional internal documents, sparking controversy and criticism. These revelations include allegations of plans to discard NewJeans and derogatory remarks about idols from other companies. Furthermore, a recently exposed report evaluates LE SSERAFIM's performance, drawing comparisons to esteemed third-generation groups such as BLACKPINK and TWICE, highlighting the company's high expectations and assessments of its artists.

The document by HYBE read, “Above all, since [LE SSERAFIM] has earned considerable trust in their performances as a team, we can now increase the scale of their tours and have them compete with boy groups. [BLACKPINK] conquered Coachella and interacted with many overseas celebrities but there was the issue with not operating the team effectively."

"[TWICE] has solidified their teamwork and is holding stadium concerts, but in terms of attracting attention, they’re lacking. If LE SSERAFIM combines the strengths of the two, it would be possible for them to fill the gap left behind by major girl groups,” the report further added.

The report has sparked widespread mockery online, with many internet users ridiculing what they perceive to be HYBE's justification for sending LE SSERAFIM to perform at Coachella, a gig that drew intense backlash against the group. The controversy began when a netizen shared the document on Theqoo, a popular online forum, alongside a video of LE SSERAFIM's Coachella set.

The post quickly went viral, prompting a flurry of criticism from netizens who took issue with HYBE's apparent reasoning. As the document and video clip spread like wildfire online, many couldn't help but express their scepticism and disdain for HYBE's assessment of the group's readiness for such a high-profile performance. The online backlash suggests that the public remains unconvinced by HYBE's decision-making and that LE SSERAFIM's Coachella debut is still haunted by controversy.
