Prime Video unveiled the release date for its new Tamil Original series, ‘Inspector Rishi’. Crafted by Nandhini JS, this thrilling crime drama with elements of horror stars the versatile actor Naveen Chandra alongside a talented ensemble cast including Sunainaa, Kanna Ravi, Malini Jeevarathnam, Srikrishna Dayal, and Kumaravel in significant roles. Spanning ten episodes, the series will debut exclusively on Prime Video in India and across more than 240 countries and territories.
Prime Video announced the web series on Instagram and wrote, “the laws of state don’t bind the supernatural!#InspectorRishiOnPrime, Mar 29.”
In ‘Inspector Rishi’, audiences are drawn into a compelling storyline following the journey of Inspector Rishi Nandhan, a sceptical investigator whose unwavering beliefs are put to the test as he delves into a string of eerie murders intertwined with supernatural phenomena.
As Rishi navigates this perplexing case filled with suspense and horror, he encounters daunting challenges, both in untangling the enigmatic crimes and confronting his own inner struggles.
The official synopsis read, “Inspector Rishi presents a gripping narrative that traces the journey of a skeptical inspector, Rishi Nandhan, whose steadfast convictions are challenged when he investigates a series of peculiar murders entwined with supernatural occurrences. As Inspector Rishi navigates through this mind-bending case replete with horror and suspense, he confronts formidable obstacles, both in unraveling the mysteries shrouding the crime and grappling with his own inner turmoil.”
