Amid rising political tension between Iran, Israel and the United States, actress Mandana Karimi of Iran has announced that she is leaving India. In a recent interview, the actress, who has made a name for herself in Bollywood, revealed that she is feeling very emotional about her decision to leave the country. In another interview, Mandana revealed that she has not been working since January, as her contracts were cancelled.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Mandana revealed that she has already packed her bags to leave India. She claimed that when the current system concludes, she will return to her home country.
Mandana mentioned her exit as a 'breakup with India.' She claimed that she had come to India when she was very young and had received love, work, and friendship. However, she claimed that her voice was not being heard. Mandana claimed that she had felt lonely for the last two months and had missed her home country.
Contracts Cancelled, Career On Pause
Mandana also revealed that she is no longer working. In fact, all her contracts since January have been cancelled, according to her. Her reason for this, she says, was that she became very vocal about political issues.
“I became too activist and too open about politics,” she said, explaining that talking too openly about political issues might have affected her work.

Her Views On Iran-Israel Conflict
Speaking about the ongoing Iran and Israel conflict, Mandana expressed that she was not satisfied with the media coverage of the issue in India. Mandana claimed that she had images and videos of the issue from Iran, which were not being shown. Mandana expressed that the issue was being shown from one side, while there are two sides to every issue.
Mandana had earlier praised the former US President, Mr Trump, saying that he was the only person who could bring freedom to Iran, following the news about the Supreme Leader of Iran.
