'Project K' aka 'Kalki 2898 AD' has taken the internet by storm after the launch of its teaser at the San Diego Comic-Con event. The promises to be an epic science fiction film with inspiration from Indian mythology. The biggest superstars in India, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan, are associated with the film and it was earlier rumoured that Dulquer Salmaan will also be a part of 'Kalki 2898 AD'.
During his interaction with Telugu media while promoting 'King Of Kotha', Dulquer was asked if he would be seen in 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Without revealing many details about the film, he said that he was blown away after seeing the sets of the film.
“I can’t reveal anything about Project K. I’ll just tell you, I went to the sets and was blown away (by its grandiose nature). Only Nagi (Nag Ashwin) can think like that. He’s a director who never fails to surprise. Be it 'Yevade Subramanyam' or 'Mahanati' and then he goes on to do Project K, which is set in the future. The sets were so amazing. But I don’t know if I am in the film or not,” he said.

Talking about the launch of the film at the San Diego Comic-Con event, Nag Ashwin said in a statement, "We are thrilled to present ‘Project K' debut at San Diego Comic-Con. India’s storytelling tradition has ancient roots, with its epics serving as the origins of many civilizations worldwide. A world as big as this needs a platform as big to introduce it to the people. Comic-Con felt like the perfect place, where the honesty and enthusiasm needed for ‘Project K’ will be found.”
