Janhvi Kapoor’s dating life has always made the headlines for both positive and negative news. Her relationship with Shikhar Pahariya has seen its ups and downs over the years. She never shied away from admitting her relationship with Shikhar. The couple is often spotted at public gatherings, spiritual places, and B-town parties. The Mr And Mrs Mahi actress has recently opened up about her bond with her rumoured beau. The star asserted that Shikhar has been a part of her life since her teenage. Janhvi also stated their dreams are aligned and they have been a support system for each other. 

In an interview with Mirchi Plus, Janhvi Kapoor said, “He (Shikhar Pahariya) has been in my life since I was 15-16. I think my dreams have always been his dreams and his dreams have always been my dreams. We’ve been very close. We’ve been each other’s support system almost as if we’ve raised each other.”

For the unversed, Shikhar Pahariya is the grandson of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. He has also been spotted with Janhvi’s family at several events. Earlier, in an interview with Zoom,  Boney Kapoor shared his relationship with Shikhar and said, “I love him (Shikhar) and in fact, in between a couple of years back Janhvi was not seeing him but I was still friendly to him. I was convinced he can never be an ex. He'll be around. When any person is there for you in any capacity whether it's for me, whether it's for Janhvi, whether it's for Arjun, he is friendly to all. So I feel we're blessed to have somebody like him in our set up.”

As per reports, Janhvi and Shikhar dated for some time before they parted ways. However, the duo reconciled last year. On the work front, the actress is gearing up for her upcoming release Mr And Mrs Mahi also starring Rajkummar Rao in the lead. The film will be released in theatres on 31st May.
