However, in August last year, the duo officially announced that they will be taking a divorce since Ryuchell had revealed that they no longer identified as a male which led to a major outrage on social media.
According to a report in News18, Ryuchell shared the experience of their journey together and said, "Being able to fall in love with a woman allowed me to imagine a life completely different from the one I thought I would have and taught me joys I never knew existed. In their joint statement, the couple had earlier clarified that they were separating so that the duo could start their own 'new kind of family' that will help them raise their kid together peacefully.
