Shah Rukh Khan led ‘Jawan’ is ready to create havoc at the box office and has already started its mission with the smashing collection in its advance ticket sales. ‘Jawan’ marks the second venture of Shah Rukh Khan in 2023, and features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles alongside the ‘King Khan.’ The trailer of the film was unveiled last week in Dubai, after which fans went into a frenzy and are already prepped up to witness the Bollywood mogul on the big screen.
‘Jawan’ is on a dream run in its advance ticket sales, as the film minted around Rs 2.46 Lakh tickets for the opening day. These numbers come from alone at the three national chains i.e. PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis, as off Sunday at 10:00 PM. The film will be looking to close the third day of its advance booking around Rs 2.40 Lakh. According to a report in Pinkvilla, till 10 PM, PVR and Inox has sold Rs 2.03 Lakh tickets, and Cinepolis at 43,000 tickets. The MovieMax chain sold around 6,200 tickets for the opening day as of Sunday night. On the other hand, Miraj sold around 17,000 tickets for day one.

The bookings of other chains are expected to open tomorrow as the distributors are in discussion to increase the pricing bracket of ‘Jawan’ based on the buzz of the film. ‘Jawan’ is recording equally good responses in the non-national chains in India. As the overall nationwide sales for the opening day are in the vicinity of 5 Lakh tickets. The makers have organized early morning shows that are recording a sold-out board in no time showcasing great signs speaking about the high anticipation of the film amongst the fans.
‘Jawan’ is headed to do some unbelievable numbers on its opening day in Hindi and has the potential to be the biggest opener of all time for the Hindi Film Industry, topping the record of ‘Pathaan.’ ‘The film recorded a bumper opening of Rs 55 Crore on a non-holiday mark and created havoc at the ticket windows.
