‘Jawan’ Stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. The film marks the debut of filmmaker Atlee in Bollywood and is running strong in theatres after completing a 3 week successful run at the box office. ‘Jawan’ hit theatres on September 7 and marks Shah Rukh Khan’s second 2023 venture after ‘Pathaan’ released on January 25. The film was supposed to release in June 2023, however due to some edits from the director’s end it was pushed for a September 2023 release.

The film minted Rs 5.15 Crore in India on Day 21, taking the total collection of the film to be around Rs 576.23 Crore. The film will soon enter the Rs 600 Crore mark in India, however, it has already crossed the Rs 1000 Crore mark worldwide and has created history. ‘Jawan’ has also beaten the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’, as the film raked Rs 543 Crore.

‘Jawan’ also features Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt in an extended cameo appearance, and revolves around a father-son story with societal and political issues in the backdrop. The film is released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. ‘Jawan’ also stars Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover and Mukesh Chhabra in pivotal roles.

The film is produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verna, whereas presented by Red Chillies Entertainment. Talking about Shah Rukh Khan’s work front, the actor will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’ alongside Tapsee Pannu.
