Jennifer Mistry, who is known for her role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, recently penned down an emotional note marking her last day in the show. The actress shared some pictures of herself from the sets. In the emotional note, she also talked about the date when she joined the popular reality show. Apparently, its the same date she left the show as well. Jennifer also said how God is working behind the scenes for her. 

In a long post on March 7 on Instagram, Jennifer wrote “Log chahte hai k unka naam Roshan ho, Mera naam Roshan tha, Maine Jennifer kar diya 😜... 2 years completed today for the last day of shoot of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah... On the same day ( 7 march) in 2008 when I was praying to my departed Roshan fui who expired on 7th March 1993.” 

“i got call from Tmkoc for the role of Roshan .... and 7th march, 2023 was my last day... Is that coincidence or synchronicity! I feel the latter , as God is working for me behind the scenes... God works in mysterious ways. Immense gratitude to the Universe,” he added. 

Several social media users commented on the post. A user said, “Kya Aapko wapas bulane ka call nhi aata!” Another user wrote, “Please Taarak Mehta ka ooltah chashma Join.” A comment read, “No one can play Roshan role better than u.” Another user wrote, “There would be no better Roshan then you ..for sure..I used to watch it only for you.. after u left the show ,i stopped watching it n followed you here.” 

When the show went on air, the show starred Dilip Joshi, Amit Bhatt, Shailesh Lodha, Disha Vakani, Mandar Chandwadkar, Neha Mehta, Munmun Dutta and Kavi Kumar Azad in key roles. It first premiered on July 2008 and still continues to run.
