John Abraham will soon return to the big screen with his action drama movie 'Vedaa'. At the trailer launch event of the film, the actor interacted with the media after a long time and was asked about doing the same types of movies. John was quick to defend himself and asked the journalist to make an opinion about 'Vedaa' after watching it in theatres. 'Vedaa' also stars Sharvari in the lead role and will release on August 15, 2024.

While answering to the question of being asked about doing 'something new', John responded, "Aapne film dekhi hai (Have you seen the film)? Can I call out bad questions and idiots?”

He added, "Nahi, main to aapko sirf directly kehna chahta hoon ki ye film alag hai. Mere hisab se to it is a very intense performance jo maine kara hai. Of course, aapne film dekhi nahi hai. (No, I just want to tell you that this is a different kind of movie. According to me, it is a very intense performance of mine. Of course, you haven’t seen the film.) But if you are wrong, I am going to turn you around and tear you apart (laughs)!"

Earlier, John hilariously asked the paparazzi not to create any controversy at the trailer launch. He said, "Bohot time baad tum log ke saamne aaya hoon. Thoda mujhe saas lene do aur har cheez record mat karna. Maine sabka chehra dekha hai, main bhi dekhta hoon sabko. Kuch controversy nahi. Mere saath koi controversy nahi (I have come before you after a long time. Let me breathe and don’t record everything. I have seen all your faces. No controversies with me).”

It is the story of a young woman who fought back, steered and championed by the one man she believed was her saviour, who became her weapon. It is the story of a man who found himself in helping Vedaa find justice."

Directed by Nikkhil Advani and written by Aseem Arrora, 'Vedaa' is produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment Present.

On the work front, John Abraham was last seen in 'Pathaan' along with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
