Since the 90s, Indian actors have been getting paid Rs 1 crore and more for a single film. Alongside their movie projects, stars are also seen in advertisements, doing events, judging or hosting shows, having side businesses and more. No wonder in this generation actors are the highest paid in the country. But recently a star has secured the top position of being the richest actress in India. It is none other than Juhi Chawla who is the richest actress in India. According to Hurun Rich List of 2024, Juhi's net worth is Rs 4600 crore ($580 million). 

The second spot has been taken by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan whose net worth is around Rs 850 crore (over $100 million). Followed by Priyanka Chopra, who is basking in the success because of her Hollywood projects, brands and film production company. Chopra’s net worth is  Rs 650 crore. The list has been then followed by Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone, who are also owners of big brands. 

Juhi Chawla’s Income 

Juhi Chawla’s minimum source of income is from the film industry as she does not do many projects. She was last seen in R Madhavan’s web series The Railway Men. It also starred Babil Khan, Kay Kay Menon and Divyenndu in the lead roles. Her last blockbuster was the 2009 movie Luck By Chance which starred Farhan Akhtar, Konkona Sen Sharma and Hrithik Roshan in the leads. Juhi’s maximum wealth comes from business investments, especially from her stake in Red Chillies Group. Juhi is also the co-owner of IPL's Kolkata Knight Riders. Chawla also owns several real estate and has investments in businesses with her husband Jay Mehta.
