Junaid Khan has been gearing up for his second release Loveyapa. The movie will be his theatrical debut alongside Khushi Kapoor. The actor, who was last seen in the Netflix movie Maharaj, shared that it does not feel that a change in the medium of release would make any difference. He even went on to say that he wouldn’t mind putting Loveyapa for free on YouTube. But soon he also mentioned that it is not practically possible.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Junaid Khan said “I don't think I feel so much of a difference. I think at the end of the day, a film is a film, and they're all very dear to us all. And I mean things like how best to distribute the film, I leave that, leave it to their better judgment. At the end of the day, I'm an actor. For me, in an ideal situation, put it free on YouTube so everybody, obviously, can watch it. But it's not a practicality.”
When asked about why he wants the film to be free on YouTube, he said “Of course, I would always want it to go to the maximum people. And I will leave that to the people in charge as they know the best on how to market and how to get it to people.”
About Loveyapa
The movie shows the dramatic turn of events after a young couple exchanges their phone. It also tests their relationship. The romantic comedy movie stars Junaid Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Yogi Babu, Ashutosh Rana, Sathyaraj, Kiku Sharda and Grusha Kapoor in key roles. The film will hit the silver screens on February 7, 2025. It has been directed by Advait Chandan. It has been produced under the banner of AGS Entertainment and Phantom Studios. The music of the film has been done by Tanishk Bagchi.
