Bollywood actress Kajol’s costar from the web series ‘The Trial’ Noor Malabika Das was found dead at her Mumbai residence on 6th June. As per reports, police have ruled her death as suicide and an investigation into this case is still going on. As per a report by Mid-Day, police sources said that the incident came in front when Malabika’s neighbours in her apartment complex in Lokhandwala found a foul smell near her flat. They later informed the Oshiwara Police regarding the same.

After the police filed the report, they broke the door of Noor’s flat and found her body in a decomposed state. She was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her room. After the panchnama, police contacted Malabika’s family but nobody claimed the body yet. Her last rites were conducted on 9th June. An officer told Mid-Day, “We spoke to her family. They had returned to their native place two weeks ago. Investigation is underway.”

Noor Malabika Das is from Assam and has worked in several web series in Hindi like Siskiyaan, Walkaman Upaya, and Charamsukh. Actor Aloknath Pathak, who is a close friend of Noor told Mid-Day, “I am saddened by this. I have known Noor for years and worked with her in many films and series. Until last month, her family was living with her in Mumbai. The family returned to the village a week ago. She was living in this flat on rent.”

In her last Instagram post, Noor wrote “There is only one face and that is @noormalabika1 matching with no one else and I no need to see the mirror my beauty is according to your reflection. My mirror is the world sometimes it’s sweet, sometimes better, sometimes silly, sometimes playful, sometimes naughty, sometimes jolly, sometimes kind, sometimes cool, sometimes fire, sometimes childish, sometimes matured.. according to the swing.”
