Kalki 2898 AD is an upcoming venture starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani in the lead roles. On the occasion of Amitabh Bachchan’s 81st birthday, the makers of the film unveiled the first look of the legendary actress which looks inspired by dark forces across the globe and is keenly interesting. The makers of the film shared the first look on their X (formerly known as Twitter) account and gave a glimpse about his mysterious role in the film.

Sharing the update on X, the makers wrote, “It's an honor to be part of your journey and witness your greatness. Happy Birthday @SrBachchan sir - Team #Kalki2898AD.” In the picture the actor can be seen covered in rugged drapes of clothes and has a stick in his hand. His face is covered with a veil and whereas he has an intense eye-contact with the camera. The backdrop of the poster looks like he’s residing inside a cave, and is a wise but interesting caveman in the film.

The film was earlier known as ‘Project K’ and is helmed by Nag Ashwin. The venture made its debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2023. At the event, which was conducted on July 20, the makers of the film unveiled the film’s teaser and title. The first glimpse also gave a glimpse of the film’s genre in which the lead actors can be seen trapped in a futuristic world.

‘Kalki 2898 D will be released in 2024. The film’s premise is set in the distant future i.e. 2898 AD and has the elements of storytelling with an interesting cinematic experience.
