About Kankhajura
The thriller series is about a man who is serving a murder sentence. He gets released from jail on the condition that he cooperates with the police as their informant (which he also had in Jai). The movie stars Roshan Mathew, Mohit Raina, Sarah Jane Dias, Trinetra Haldar Gummaraju, Ninad Kamat, Mahesh Shetty, Heeba Shah, Usha Nadkarni and Kurangi Vijayshri Nagraj in key roles. It has been directed by Chandan Arora.
In an official statement, Roshan Mathew talks about why he took up the project, “What drew me to KanKhajura was its emotional intensity and the stillness beneath the chaos. Ashu is a deeply layered character, fragile in moments, but with a quiet storm within. The story is heartwarming and haunting. Every relationship in the show is cracked in some way, and it’s how these characters act on those flaws that makes it so much fun to explore.”
