Filmmaker Karan Johar recently clapped back at a social media troll who questioned his sexual orientation. During an 'Ask Me Anything' session on the newly launched social media platform Threads, Karan was responding to queries about his career and personal life.

On Saturday, Karan wrote, "AKA! Ask Karan Anything!!! Happy to answer legit questions that make me gush and blush not flush! Am here for 10 minutes my threaders!"

When a troll brazenly asked Karan Johar, "You are gay, right?", the filmmaker gave a savage response, saying, "You're interested?" Social media users applauded Karan's swift shutdown of the troll and criticised the individual for being overly fixated on his sexuality. One Reddit user praised Karan's reply as "savage," while another emphasised the need for people to stop obsessing over others' sexual orientations.

"Credit where it's due. I actually love this no lie version of him and find it very endearing than KWK version lol," a third user remarked. "He's cheeky when he needs to be, credit where it's due" a fourth added.

In addition to shutting down the troll, Karan Johar candidly answered various other questions during the session. He expressed his biggest regret, stating that he never had the opportunity to work with his favourite actor, the late Sridevi. When it came to his personal strength, Karan attributed it to having a "thick skin" to navigate the challenges of the industry.

A user also asked Karan, "Dharma and SRK collaboration happen in future?" Karan replied, "Ask me no secrets will tell you no lies."
