The KGF franchise became a huge success in India and Yash gained a huge fan following across the country as well. The ending of KGF Chapter 2 left fans on a cliffhanger and there has been a lot of buzz around KGF Chapter 3. As KGF Chapter 2 has completed one year, the makers have also given a hint about the film's third instalment.

Sharing an intriguing video, Hombale Films wrote, "The most powerful promise kept by the most powerful man. KGF 2 took us on an epic journey with unforgettable characters and action. A global celebration of cinema, breaking records, and winning hearts. Here's to another year of great storytelling! #KGFChapter2."

At the end of the video, a question is asked, "Was the promise kept?" and it also showed "3" in the end.

Earlier, Sanjay Dutt, who was the antagonist in the film, penned a note on Twitter as KGF Chapter 2 completed a year. He wrote, "As the film completes a year, I am overwhelmed by the love and appreciation that we have received from all of you. Your support has been the driving force behind the success of KGF Chapter 2, and I cannot thank you enough for it."

He added, "The film's success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of #KarthikGowda, #VijayKiragandur sir and the entire Hombale team, and I am proud to have been a part of it. #1YearOfKGFChapter2."

However, being on the set of KGF Chapter 2 and seeing the passion and dedication of everyone involved in the project inspired me to overcome my challenges and emerge stronger and better. From the moment I stepped on the set, I was welcomed with open arms by the talented cast and crew who worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life. @TheNameIsYash is now a brother to me, and our director #PrashanthNeel is an incredible talent who I'm sure will go on to do great things," he further wrote praising Yash and Prashanth Neel.

KGF Chapter 2 stars Superstar Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj. Yash and Srinidhi reprised their respective roles from KGF Chapter 1. Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon joined the star cast for the second instalment, where Sanjay played the role of the antagonist Adheera and Raveena was seen as a minister.
