‘Khufiya’ stars Tabu, Ali Fazal, and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles, and will be released on Netflix on October 5. The makers of the film released an intriguing teaser that will surely raise the curiosity bar amongst the fans. ‘Khufiya’ is directed by ace filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj, and marks his third collaboration with actress Tabu. Earlier, the duo have been seen together in ‘Haider’ and ‘Maqbool.’
On September 14, Netflix shared the official release date of the film in an interesting manner. Unveiling the date within a scene from the film, in which Tabu can be seen amidst an investigation, looking at a surveillance camera footage. A man can be seen taking out a printout from a machine, in which the release date of the film is unveiled. Sharing the teaser, Netflix India wrote, “Kuch raaz, raaz hi rahe to behtar hai. But not this one.”

On Wednesday, September 13, the makers released another teaser of the film which opens with the text "Khufiya Shoot 12 hours to go..." We then see a confused Tabu and says, “Yeh kya matlab hai, script khufiya hai, dialogues khufiya hai." In another scene, Ali Fazal can be seen asking Vishal Bharadwaj sir, “Vishal Sir yeh kya hai? Mai apki script kyun leak karunga?" Next, Wamiqa Gabbi can be seen and is about to share something exciting, until a text from the director says, “Keep it Khufiya."

Sharing the teaser, Netflix India wrote, “Film itni Khufiya rakho ki actors bhi pooche “Film kya hai?!” ‘Khufiya’ is a spy thriller inspired by true events.
