In the year 1972, during the Summer Paralympics held in Heidelberg, Germany, Murlikant Petkar accomplished a significant achievement that etched his name in Indian sports history forever. He became the very first Paralympic gold medalist for India, marking a momentous occasion. Petkar's exceptional performance came in the 50m freestyle swimming event, where he not only secured the gold medal but also established a new world record by completing the race in an astonishing 37.33 seconds. His talents were not limited to swimming alone, as he also showcased his abilities in diverse events like javelin, precision javelin throw, and slalom during the same games.

Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan have teamed up to produce 'Chandu Champion,' a highly anticipated film scheduled for release on June 14, 2024. This collaboration promises to create a lasting impact on audiences across the globe, as the movie aims to resonate deeply with viewers.In July 2022, Kabir Khan initially revealed the film's existence. Then, on July 4, 2023, Sajid Nadiadwala officially announced the film with a motion poster. It was confirmed that Kabir Khan would direct, with Kartik Aaryan in the lead role. This marked Kartik Aaryan's second collaboration with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, following their work together on Satyaprem Ki Katha (2023).

Filming began on July 12, 2023, with a ceremonial puja held in London, where the first schedule took place. The second schedule commenced on September 24, 2023, in Kashmir, and filming also occurred in the Wai village of Maharashtra. After eight months of shooting, filming concluded on January 31, 2024. Notably, a challenging 8-minute single-shot war sequence was filmed in the Aru Valley of Jammu, situated at an altitude of 9000 feet above sea level.
