L2 Empuraan Box Office Collection Day 2: Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Malayalam action thriller movie released in theatres on March 27. The film received positive responses from the audience and the critics. The movie started off on a strong note but saw a 50 per cent drop in India on its second day. Well, it seems concerning for the movie as it is going to face Salman Khan’s Sikandar on March 30. If it manages to show improvement on Saturday, then it might help to reach the Rs 50 crore mark net sooner. However, L2 Empuraan crossed over Rs 30 crore in just two days and achieved a new milestone at the worldwide box office.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 11.75 crore on Day 2. The film collected Rs 10.75 crore in Malayalam version, 0.03 crore in Kannada version, 0.27 crore in Telugu version, 0.03 crore in Tamil version and 0.04 crore in Hindi version. The net collection L2 Empuraan stands at Rs 33.25 crore. It had 46.02 per cent Malayalam occupancy on Friday. The film had 37.09 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 40.89 per cent in the afternoon shows, 48.42 per cent in the evening shows and 57.69 per cent in the night shows.

The story follows the journey of a man named Stephen Nedumpally also known as Khureshi Ab'raam, who leads a double life. He became an enigmatic leader of a powerful crime syndicate despite having several opponents. The movie features Caroline Koziol, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Mohanlal, Jerome Flynn, Eriq Ebouaney, Tovino Thomas, Saniya Iyappan, Manju Warrier and Abhimanyu Singh in key roles. It has been directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and produced by Antony Perumbavoor, Subaskaran Allirajah, Gokulam Gopalan and Subaskaran Allirajah.
