Latest Blockbuster Telugu Movies To Release Soon On OTT
Pushpa 2
Pushpa 2: The Rule is 2024 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Allu Arjun in the titular role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, and several others. Serving as the second installment in the Pushpa film series and the sequel to the critically acclaimed Pushpa: The Rise (2021), the movie follows the journey of Pushpa Raj, a sandalwood smuggler who rose from humble beginnings as a coolie. As Pushpa's empire grows, he faces formidable opposition from his enemies, including the formidable SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS, setting the stage for an action-packed and thrilling narrative.
The digital rights of the film have been bought by Netflix. The OTT release date is yet to be announced but if the reports are to be believed, Pushpa 2 will start streaming on OTT from January 31, 2025.
Sankranthiki Vasthunam
In a significant development, it has been announced that Zee has acquired the satellite and post-theatrical streaming rights for Sankranthiki Vasthunam, according to a report in 123Telugu. The platform has reportedly offered a substantial sum of Rs 27 crores to the film's producers, underscoring the movie's immense commercial potential. As is customary with Telugu films, Sankranthiki Vasthunam is expected to make its digital debut four weeks after its theatrical release.
Game Changer
The 2025 Indian Telugu-language film Game Changer is a political action thriller directed by S. Shankar, marking his debut in Telugu cinema. Produced by Dil Raju under the esteemed banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, led by Ram Charan in a dual role, alongside Anjali, Kiara Advani, S. J. Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram and Samuthirakani. The film's soundtrack is composed by Thaman S, with Tirru handling the cinematography.
According to a report in 123Telugu, the movie might debut on Amazon Prime Video in the second week of February, with February 14, 2025, being the tentative date.
Daaku Maharaaj
Nandamuri Balakrishna's highly anticipated action drama, Daaku Maharaaj, has secured a significant deal as Netflix has acquired its digital streaming rights. This exciting development was reported by 123telugu, confirming the film's OTT platform. Daaku Maharaaj boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath and Chandhini Chowdary, among others.
