What to expect in Episodes 9 and 10 of Lovely Runner?

In Lovely Runner, Im Sol (Kim Hye Yoon) is a devoted fan of musician Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok). Her world is shattered when she learns of Sun Jae's death by suicide. However, she finds herself mysteriously transported back in time to 2008, when Sun Jae was a teenager. Im Sol sees this as an opportunity to prevent Sun Jae's tragic fate, but altering the past proves to be a daunting task.

In the latest episode of Lovely Runner, the storyline takes a dramatic turn as Sun Jae and Im Sol's relationship deepens amidst a backdrop of mystery and tragedy. Transported back in time to 1 January 2023, Sun Jae discovers a letter from Im Sol in a time capsule, expressing her gratitude. As he realizes that Im Sol is actually his stalker, he becomes eager to find her.

Their encounter on a bridge leads to an unexpected invitation from Im Sol for Sun Jae to spend the night with her, which he accepts, skipping an after-party. During their conversation, they share intimate thoughts, but Im Sol misunderstands Sun Jae's intentions, thinking they will make love. This misunderstanding leads to a moment of embarrassment when Sun Jae clarifies that he simply wishes to chat privately.

 

Despite trying to keep their meeting a secret, speculations about Sun Jae's whereabouts arise. Im Sol is determined to protect Sun Jae from prying eyes. Their evening ends with a passionate kiss, interrupted only by an assault on Sun Jae by a recently released man. Im Sol is left shocked and confused, raising questions about whether Sun Jae's supposed suicide was actually a murder. This twist in the plot adds a new layer of intrigue, leaving Im Sol wondering if her efforts to ensure Sun Jae's happiness are in vain.

As the series unfolds, viewers are left to ponder the true nature of Sun Jae's fate and Im Sol's role in altering it. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, setting the stage for further twists and revelations in the upcoming episodes of Lovely Runner.
