Maharaja Box Office Collection (China): Tamil blockbuster movie Maharaja, starring Vijay Sethupathi, is now generating immense excitement and anticipation globally. Following its phenomenal success in India, the film is all set to make a splash in the international market, with a grand release slated in China. In a remarkable feat, Maharaja is scheduled to hit a whopping 40,000 screens across China on November 29, marking a significant milestone in the film's journey.

Maharaja has made a triumphant debut in China, garnering an impressive $130,000 at the box office and securing a notable ninth position in the market. The film's producer, Sudhan Sundaram, is optimistic about its prospects in China, attributing its potential success to the universal emotional appeal of the movie, particularly its poignant portrayal of the father-daughter bond, which he believes will resonate deeply with Chinese audiences.

The Chinese release of Maharaja presents a monumental opportunity for substantial box office collections. If the film resonates with Chinese audiences and performs exceptionally well at the box office, it is estimated to gross a staggering INR 700 crores. This projection is based on the average earnings of a well-received film in China, which typically generates around $2,000 per screen.

With Maharaja slated to release on an unprecedented 40,000 screens across China, the potential revenue is substantial, with estimates suggesting that the film could rake in approximately $80 million, or INR 700 crores, provided it receives positive word of mouth from audiences.

Notably, the highest-grossing Indian film in China remains Aamir Khan's Dangal, which achieved an impressive INR 1,300 crores at the Chinese box office, setting a lofty benchmark for Indian films in the Chinese market.
