Manoj Bajpayee is a seasoned actor in Bollywood. Be it web series or Bollywood movies, the actor is widely appreciated for his performances and hooking the audience with just his presence on the screen. Manoj Bajpayee, who made his debut with Bandit Queen in 1994, has had a variety of projects to his name. His last released film on Zee5 'Sirf Ek Banda Kafi Hai' garnered love from all corners.
Now, Manoj Bajpayee is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Joram. In the exclusive conversation with Dainik Jagran, the actor shared many anecdotes from his career and revealed that he was afraid of veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan.
Manoj Bajpayee Hid In Bathroom On Seeing Amitabh Bachchan
Manoj Bajpayee during the promotion of his film Zoram revealed the reason behind hiding in the bathroom after seeing Amitabh Bachchan. He said, "I was avoiding Amitabh Bachchan because he is such a great actor and after seeing him on the screen I decided to become an actor. He was watching my film Satya and I was wondering how he would like it. So to escape from him, I hid in the bathroom. When I came out, my timing was incorrect and he was searching outside for me. But it was a very amazing moment."

Manoj Bajpayee's Fear While Shooting With A Girl
After the successful films Tandav and Bhosle, Manoj Bajpayee has collaborated with Devashish for the third time with Joram. The actor revealed that when he was reading the script of the film, the only thing he was afraid of was how the shoot would be with the girl. The actor said, "It was a very difficult task, it was not like you put on a harness and jump from 30-40 feet. She is a small girl, it was important to figure out how to shoot without risk with her."
The actor further confessed that the conversation happened in 2016 and in 2021, they collaborated with Zee Studio and the film was made. The safety of the little girl was taken care of and it was a lot of fun shooting with her. Manoj Bajpayee also said that the Censor Board has passed the film by giving U/A certificate without any cuts and the film has also received a lot of appreciation on the international platform. Joram will be released in theaters on 8 December 2023.
