Mark Antony Box Office Collection Day 5: Vishal’s Comeback Action Film Continues To Mint Strong Numbers; To Enter Rs 40 Crore Club Soon

‘Mark Antony’ Box Office Collection: ‘Mark Antony’ is helmed by Adhik Ravichandran and hit theatres on September 15. Based on the concept of Science fiction, the film revolves around time travel and is a light-hearted action comedy entertainer. The film has opened up to positive reviews from critics and audience and is creating decent numbers at the box office. The film features SJ Suryah and Vishal Krishna in the lead roles, and also has an artificial rendition of the late controversial Tamil actress Silk Smitha.

On Day 5, ‘Mark Antony’ managed to collect Rs 4.50 Crore at the box office, taking the total collection to be around Rs 39.90 Crore. The film passed the litmus Monday test and accounted for Rs 7.95 Crore on its Day 4, dominating the Southern markets. ‘Mark Antony’ is already giving a strong competition to Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ in the Southern markets. Notably, the film has crossed the Rs 40 Crore mark worldwide, and is inching closer to cross the Rs 40 Crore in India.

‘Jawan’ on the other hand will soon be entering the Rs 1000 Crore worldwide, and has crossed the Rs 500 mark in India. The film is helmed by Atlee and also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles.

Talking about the plot of ‘Mark Antony’, the film focuses on a gang high on discipline, especially when it comes to the matter of treating women. With an honor code, they direct a time travel machine and communicate with their past, in which several things go haywire as Vishal’s character is sent back in time.
