Men Too OTT Release Date: When And Where To Watch This Comedy Film On Rise Of MeToo Movement

Men Too OTT Release Date: Men Too, starring Naresh Agastya, Kaushik Ghantasala, and Mourya Siddavaram, created a stir with its unconventional and daring promotional material. The comedy film was released on May 26, but unfortunately did not strike a chord with the audience, leaving the team disheartened. The offbeat comedy project was helmed by director Srikanth G Reddy.

Just two weeks after its theatrical release, the film has secured its OTT release date. The renowned Telugu OTT platform, Aha, has acquired the streaming rights of the movie at a lucrative price.

Plot of 'Men Too'

Men Too tackles the workplace challenges experienced by men, presented in a humorous manner by director Srikanth. Ditya (played by Naresh Agastya), Sanju (played by Kaushik Ghantasala), and Munna (played by Mourya Siddavaram) are three friends who come from diverse backgrounds but share a common bond.

They frequent a distinctive pub called 'Stags Only,' where they encounter other like-minded men who have been affected by the actions of pseudo-feminists in various ways. During their visits to the pub, they form a friendship with Rahul (portrayed by Harsha Chemudu), an IT employee who has become a victim of a false sexual allegation. The storyline revolves around the fate of Rahul and the events that give rise to the #MenToo movement.

As the film failed to resonate with the audience, it was taken out of theatres within a week. However, according to reports, Men Too is now scheduled to release on Aha on June 9, 2023. The movie is produced by Mourya Siddavaram and features music by Elisha Praveen G & Osho Venkat.

Despite having commendable production values and receiving appreciation for the comedic elements in certain scenes, Men Too ultimately fell short of impressing the audience as a whole. However, producer Mourya Siddavaram secured a lucrative deal with Aha for an early OTT release, resulting in the movie hitting the streaming platform earlier than anticipated.

The music for the film has been composed by Elisha Praveen and Osho Venkat, while the cinematography has been handled by PC Mouli. Karthik Vunnava took charge of the film's editing, Srihitha Kotagiri was responsible for costume design, and Chandra Mouli oversaw the art direction.
