Mohsin Khan, who rose to fame with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, recently revealed some shocking details about his health. The actor said that he had a mild heart attack last year and was hospitalised for quite some time. He further mentioned that he had a fatty liver which he developed. Moshin shared that the health condition might have happened due to his erratic sleep patterns. The television star asserted that the ailment is known as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Moshin said, “I developed a fatty liver and last year, I had a mild heart attack, but I didn’t tell anyone. It had become quite serious. I was hospitalized for a while, and we switched between 2-3 hospitals for treatment. But now, everything is under control.”
When asked about the reason behind his fatty liver, Khan said, “It’s called non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. You can develop a fatty liver even without drinking alcohol. It just happens without you realizing it, maybe because our sleep patterns aren’t right. That’s what happened.”
Mohsin Khan was known for playing the role of Kartik in Rajan Shahi’s hit show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He was cast opposite Shivangi Joshi who played the role of Nayraa. Their chemistry was admired a lot by the fans of the television show. He left the show in 2021.
Mohsin has worked on several other projects including Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, Dream Girl – Ek Ladki Deewani Si, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Adbhut Ganesh Utsav to name a few. The actor was last seen in Jab Mila Tu. It stars Anup Ingale, Ddarsh Prajapati, Eisha Singh, Pratik Sehajpal, Alisha Chopra, Shubham Sapre and Punesh Tripathi in key roles.
