The lineup includes heartwarming dramas like Binny and Family, thrillers like Jigra, comedies like Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and horror-comedies like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Additionally, Rohit Shetty's action-packed Singham Again will also join the festive lineup. Upcoming Bollywood OTT Releases December 2024
Jigra
Jigra is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Vasan Bala, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Debashish Irengbam. The film is produced by a notable team, including Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt and Soumen Mishra, under the banners of Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions. The movie features Alia Bhatt in the lead role, portraying a troubled young woman who embarks on a daring mission to rescue her brother, played by Vedang Raina, from prison.
According to reports from Binged, Jigra is slated to stream on Netflix starting December 6, 2024.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film, directed by Anees Bazmee and written by Aakash Kaushik. Produced by T-Series Films and Cine1 Studios, the film is the third installment in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, following the success of the first two films in 2007 and 2022. The movie boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri, and is set against the vibrant backdrop of Kolkata, West Bengal.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will reportedly stream on OTT in December 2024.
Singham Again
Singham Again is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language action film, written and directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is co-produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, Reliance Entertainment, Jio Studios, and Devgn Films. Singham Again boasts an impressive ensemble cast, featuring Ajay Devgn in the titular role, alongside Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Arjun Kapoor. Notably, the film marks the fifth installment of Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe franchise.
Singham Again will be streaming on Prime Video from 27th December 2024.
Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video
Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language comedy film that tells the story of a couple, played by Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, who embark on a frantic search for their missing sex tape. The film is co-written and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by a collaborative effort between T-Series Films, Balaji Motion Pictures, Wakaoo Films, and Kathavachak Films. Despite its intriguing premise, the movie received largely negative reviews from critics upon its theatrical release on October 11, 2024.
Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video will reportedly stream on OTT in December 2024.
The Sabarmati Report
The Sabarmati Report is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language political drama film that delves into the complexities of the Godhra train burning incident, which occurred on February 27, 2002, involving the Sabarmati Express train. The film is based on a story by Aseem Arrora, with a screenplay written by Avinash and Arjun, and directed by Dheeraj Sarna, who took over the reins from Ranjan Chandel.
According to reports, The Sabarmati Report will be available on Sony LIV between late December 2024 and early January 2025.
