Prahaar Twitter Review
One viewer praised the research and intensity on X, writing, "Honestly #Prahaar LIVED UP TO THE HYPE! Rajkummar Rao is brilliant as Ujjwal Nikam, and the courtroom scenes had me HOOKED. The dialogues, the intensity, the performances… everything just comes together so well!"
One thing I genuinely appreciate about #Prahaar is the amount of detail that has gone into telling this story! You can feel the research behind it and Rajkummar Rao has done full justice to Ujjwal Nikam's character! More films like this please! 👏🏻💯 https://t.co/Cq0fkLkwOB

Despite strong performances, a central criticism across reviews involves the film's total length and pacing momentum. Several viewers noted that the narrative slows down outside the courtroom.
A critical review on X assigned "RATING 2.5/5*" and noted, "#Prahaar is a decent attempt on the 26/11 and #UjjwalNikam's biopic that has some powerful speeches but has some pacing issues. The film could have been a far more gripping experience if it had wrapped up within 120 minutes."
#PrahaarReview Rating: ⭐️1/2 The biggest disappointment with #Prahaar is how little it manages to do with its subject. Instead of developing the premise into an absorbing theatrical experience, the film settles for dry storytelling and dull execution. #AvinashArun’s directorial is one of the most forgettable courtroom dramas to come out of Bollywood in recent times. Despite the presence of solid performers like @RajkummarRao, #AshishVidyarthi and #JaideepAhlawat, not a single scene registers. And that’s genuinely a shame. Rao plays the role of #UjjwalNikam but doesn’t get the nuances of the character right. He’s comical and awkward in many scenes, and his dialogue delivery lacks the punch needed for a film like this. #WamiqaGabbi feels like an inconsequential addition to the story that only makes an already exhausting film longer. If @MaddockFilms thought telling the story of the 26/11 attacks would be enough to attract viewers to the cinemas, it’s time they get a reality check. #DineshVijan’s film will open to poor response everywhere. The dismal numbers won’t be a surprise, thanks to zilch marketing and zero promotions, leading to no awareness among the audience. A dud is on the way!

While many praised Rajkummar Rao, others felt the portrayal had minor flaws in dialect and accent. Additionally, supporting cast members like Wamiqa Gabbi, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Ashish Vidyarthi received mixed feedback regarding their total screen time.
A netizen pointed out, "Rajkummar Rao almost pulls off a wonder, except for some accent problems. Wamiqa Gabbi doesn't get anything particularly special to do." Another sharply critical post called it "dull execution," stating that "not a single scene registers."
#Prahaar is a stirring account of the #AjmalKasab trial & why it took 4 years for his conviction. It particularly stands out for humanising a man, without excusing his crime. In the current climate, it dares to uphold the values of democracy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #prahaarreview #Ujjwalnikam https://t.co/Si6StXqzC2

Industry estimates suggest a soft start at the commercial box office due to limited pre-release marketing. Trade analyst Sumit Kadel noted that the film is projected to collect "1.5cr-2cr on the opening day" in domestic markets.
