They Call Him OG Movie Review: Ojas Gambheera, played by Pawan Kalyan, dominates every shot with a dark silence. The filmmaker masterfully incorporates it into the choreography, producing sophisticated, gory ballets of violence. The action scenes are shot int he right capacity without being noisy. Ravi K. Chandran, the cinematographer, deserves praise for his frames, which are full of subdued colours. They Call Him OG will take you to 80s Mumbai. The rain-soaked alleys, the vintage cars, and the wide-angle fight sequences are just Slick. Sujeeth manages to pen a screenplay that gives high after high without letting down the fans' cheers from start to end.

Performances in They Call Him OG

Pawan Kalyan performs with a purposeful constraint, a mute rage. A man with an honour code and a brutal past. His body language, the fluidity with which he wields the Katana, and the slow-burning passion in his eyes all point to a physical and psychological transformation. Emraan Hashmi, who portrays a frightening villain in the role of OMI, makes a delightful Telugu debut. He turns a strong opponent to Pawan Kalyan in a face-off, and their chemistry raises the stakes of the story of They Call Him OG.

Editing by Navin Nooli is crisp, allowing scenes to breathe while maintaining narrative momentum. Production design by AS Prakash gives the underworld setting a stylised, almost graphic novel-like feel. The action choreography is brilliant; almost every action sequence stands out with unique cinematic takes.

Kudos to the stunt choreographers A Vijay, Peter Hein, Dhilip Subbarayan, Kevin Kumar, Stunt Silva, Sunil Rodrigues, Kecha Khampakdee, Juji, Supreme Sundar, Jashwa and Parvez. Costume design subtly reflects character transition and represents 80's style, Pawan Kalyan’s minimalistic, rugged look versus Emraan’s sharp, tailored villainy.
