Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor have teamed up for the second time in their upcoming sports drama 'Mr & Mrs Mahi'. It has been reported that the makers are planning to re-create the iconic verse ‘Dekha Tenu Pehli Pehli Baar Ve' from the song 'Say Shava Shava’, which is part of the blockbuster movie 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'. Karan Johar is the director of 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' and is also the producer of 'Mr & Mrs Mahi'.

According to a thread posted on Reddit, it has been rumoured that ‘Dekha Tenu Pehli Pehli Baar Ve' will be made into a full-fledged song. The user wrote, "I heard two big celebs at a party talking about how much they loved that recreation of ‘Dekha Tenu,’ that song from Karan's film K3G. Is this happening for real in a movie?”

To this, another Reddit user responded, "Yeah, apparently it’s a killer track. I think it’s part of some cricket film”.

'Mr & Mrs Mahi' will release on May 31, 2024. Rajkummar will essay the role of Mahendra, whereas, Janhvi will be seen as Mahima.

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in 'Devara'. At the India Today Conclave 2023, she expressed her excitement about working on this film. "I’m literally counting down the days. I message the director every day. Working with Jr NTR has been a dream. I recently re-watched 'RRR'. The magnitude of charisma that he has. Tobe able to share screen space with him will be one of the biggest joys of my life," she said.

She added, "I manifested it. I prayed every day for it. In every interview, I used to say that I wanted to work with Jr NTR sir. This film might be the first time this technique worked for me. I do believe that what you put in the universe is what you attract. I have learned to be always positive and do my work. That is the moral of the story."

Janhvi will also star in 'RC 16' along with Ram Charan. She will be seen in 'Ujajh' as well along with Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Sachin Khedekar, Rajendra Gupta and Jitendra Joshi.

Rajkummar Rao will next star in the biopic 'Srikanth' along with Jyotika. He will also star in 'Guns & Gulaabs Season 2'.
